Rates

The average rates for translation are between 4 and 10 cents per word.

For simple English or Spanish $0.04-$0.06 per word.

This would be considered "everyday English", which is something the common public would understand without consulting a dictionary.

More complex English or Spanish, up to $0.10 per word depending on the technical nature of the document/video.

Example: Techincal manuals, or projects of a medical nature would be considered complex.

Procedures:

1. Send an email to contact@shinetranslation.com with information about the project, word count, subject matter, etc.

2. After receiving the information, we will respond as soon as possible with a free quote.

3. Once you have accepted the quote, we will send you an e-invoice for fifty percent of the cost which you can pay with any credit card or Paypal. We require this deposit on the project before work will begin. Upon completion of the project you will receive another e-invoice for the remaining cost.

4. If original copies of the document are needed, we will send them by FedEx at your cost. If you ould prefer them to be sent through regular postal mail that is possible, however because we live in Latin America there is a risk of the documents getting lost in the mail, or taking several weeks to arrive. If you choose this option it is at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible if the documents are lost in transit.
